They started in Frankfurt in 1970 as Monsun, but when Bellaphon offered them a recording contract, they changed their name, on request, to Lily and decorated themselves with loads of silly glitter. Their only LP was recorded in the Dierks Studio and released in 1973 with a circulation of 1000 copies. Although the saxophone is a prominent feature, one can hardly call the music jazz rock. Since the rights to this LP have returned to the artists, they consented to a new release on CD. Four long so-far unreleased tracks in the same style were added as a bonus, and Garden of Delights has, as always now, produced a 32-page colour booklet.
