Nine Days Wonder "We Never Lost Control" LP
The first official reissue of the 2nd album of German band Nine Days Wonder. After falling apart during their first British tour Nine Days Wonder called it a day in 1972 and bandleader Walter Seyffer had to search for a new band. He soon met up with also Mannheim based Michael Bundt´s group Medusa who agreed to join and became a new incarnation of Nine Days Wonder. In comparison with their extraordinary first album "We Never Lost Control" is richly texted and features mellow progressive rock with slightly hard-rock touches reminding of David Bowie´s "Ziggy Stardust". Without the jazzy elements of the first album this is a step forward into the at that time upcoming glam-rock sound, but with that special krautrock feel. Hard to describe this highly gifted mixture: a very melodic, powerful, excellent krautrock document! The album comes with exact reproduction of original artwork, band story and rare photos.
